Yeah I'm still here!


I managed to make a lot of art over the summer, so I'm pretty happy. I've been experimenting a lot. On the other hand, I learned to play the electric guitar better, so I feel like I've really accomplished something this summer.

The end of summer I had the chance to display some of my art in a children's store during an art festival. It worked out really well, considering I would love to be an illustrator for children's books in the future. I have yet to sell any pieces, but a business is in the works. I've been looking into starting a business, selling some art. The festival gave me some exposure, so it went great.

In other news, university has just begun so it's taking up quite a bit of my time. I'll be uploading some of my work I did over the summer shortly, as well as some projects I'm working on at school.

But September has been really great, it's gotten off to a great start. Been to some concerts already, and my classes are going pretty well. I love my illustration class. Gary Taxali is my teacher for that class, you should check his work out: [link] My Ilustrative Drawing class will teach me to draw the human form better, which is something I need practice with- realism isn't my strength. But you learn, right?

There's a lot to do this year, but everything's going well so far. I'm feeling pretty good about this year.

I just hope when summer comes next year I finally get to travel out of the country!
